We start each day at the Sydney fish markets so our customers have the freshest seasonal and, where possible,sustainable seafood to choose from.
Every type of seafood is available and cooked to perfection at Fat Fish. Prawns, calamari, scallops and our traditional fish and chips are as good as, if not better than anything you will find anywhere else. We use a light, crispy batter that is low in fat and goes perfectly with our neatly cut and delicious ‘Fat Fish’ chips. But grilled fish is definitely our specialty; we cook it quickly to retain its natural flavours and the value packed Omega 3’s that make fish the healthiest, protein rich food known to man.
We cook in low fat, cholesterol free and gluten free cotton seed oil. To make sure that there is no residue of batter building up in our oil and to retain the crisp, fresh taste of our fish, we filter the oil three times a day.
